Since our founding in 2010, the Panama-Israel Chamber of Commerce has been a vital meeting point for globally minded businesspeople. Today, we are evolving to adapt to the challenges of the modern economy, strengthening our role as key facilitators in the bilateral relationship.

The story

More than a decade empowering a country of opportunities

The Origin of a Vision. Our institutional journey began on June 24, 2010 , the date on which we were founded by Ministry of Government Resolution No. 205-PJ-64 (dated April 27, 2010). This initiative arose from a group of prominent Panamanian and Israeli business leaders who understood that the relationship with Israel should extend beyond traditional trade.

His vision was clear: to unite the innovation of the "Start-up Nation" not only with the logistics hub, but also with the agricultural wealth , the unparalleled tourism potential and the privileged position of Panama as the strategic center for Headquarters of Multinational Companies (SEM) in Latin America.

Building Multi-Sector Bridges. From the outset, and with an unwavering commitment to the Embassies of both countries, we have worked to ensure that Israeli technology finds fertile ground in Panama. The Chamber has served as the conduit for modernizing Panamanian agriculture, boosting the tourism sector, and facilitating the arrival of multinational companies seeking stability and connectivity.

A decisive milestone in this administration was our active participation in the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Panama and Israel. Our role was to ensure that this agreement opened real doors for exporters, farmers, and service providers on both sides of the Atlantic.
